Refund policy
At Homegrown Collective, we want you to love your purchase. We understand that sometimes you may change your mind, choose the wrong size or decide something isn't quite right.
This policy explains our change-of-mind returns as well as your rights where a product is faulty, damaged or otherwise does not meet the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS
Homegrown Collective offers 14-day change-of-mind returns.
If you change your mind about a purchase, you may request an exchange or store credit provided:
- You contact us or return the item within 14 days of receiving or purchasing the item.
- The item is unused, unworn and in its original condition.
- All original tags remain attached.
- The item is in its original packaging.
- All parts, accessories, instructions and internal packaging are included.
- You provide your receipt or other satisfactory proof of purchase.
Homegrown Collective does not generally provide cash/card refunds for change-of-mind purchases.
This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law where a product is faulty or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee.
CHANGE-OF-MIND EXCLUSIONS
For hygiene, health and safety reasons, certain products cannot be returned simply because you have changed your mind.
These may include:
- Nappies
- Wipes
- Toothbrushes
- Toothpaste
- Dummies/soothers and certain oral products
- Personal hygiene products
- Breast pumps
- Breast pads
- Breast care products

We also do not accept change-of-mind returns for:
- Clearance items or final-sale items
- Floor stock sold as-is where this was clearly disclosed
- Gift cards or gift vouchers

- Perishable products
These exclusions apply to change-of-mind returns only.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law may still apply if an excluded item is faulty, unsafe, not as described or otherwise fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee.
SALE ITEMS
Sale items may be excluded from our voluntary change-of-mind return policy where they are identified as final sale or clearance.
However, purchasing an item on sale does not remove your rights under the Australian Consumer Law if the product is faulty or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee.

Exchanges are subject to stock availability.

FAULTY, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If you believe your product is faulty, damaged, unsafe, not as described or you have received the wrong item, please contact Homegrown Collective as soon as reasonably possible.
Please provide:
- Your name
- Order number or proof of purchase
- Description of the problem
- Photographs or video where appropriate
We may need to inspect the product or obtain information from the manufacturer or supplier to help assess the issue.
This assessment does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
Products sold by Homegrown Collective come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Depending on the circumstances and whether a failure is major or minor, you may be entitled to a remedy such as a:
- Repair
- Replacement
- Refund
- Other remedy available under Australian Consumer Law
Where a product has a major failure, the consumer may have the right to choose between a refund or replacement.
Where the problem is not a major failure, the supplier may generally have an opportunity to provide an appropriate remedy within a reasonable time.
Homegrown Collective will assess faulty-product claims consistently with its obligations under Australian Consumer Law.
MANUFACTURER WARRANTIES
Some products may also include a manufacturer's warranty.
Manufacturer warranties are in addition to, and do not replace, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where appropriate, Homegrown Collective may communicate with the manufacturer or supplier to assist in assessing or resolving a product issue.
The existence or expiry of a manufacturer's warranty does not necessarily determine whether a customer has rights under Australian Consumer Law.
PROOF OF PURCHASE
Please retain your receipt or order confirmation.
Where a receipt is unavailable, we may be able to locate your transaction if sufficient information is provided.
Other satisfactory proof of purchase may also be accepted where appropriate.
RETURN SHIPPING — CHANGE OF MIND
Customers are responsible for the cost of returning products for a change-of-mind return unless Homegrown Collective agrees otherwise.

We recommend using a trackable postage service when returning products by mail.
Homegrown Collective cannot take responsibility for a change-of-mind return that does not reach us.
RETURN SHIPPING — FAULTY PRODUCTS
Different arrangements may apply where a product is being returned because it is faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee.
Where Homegrown Collective is legally responsible for reasonable return or transportation costs under Australian Consumer Law, those costs will be handled accordingly.
Please contact us before sending a faulty product so we can discuss the appropriate return arrangements.
